I am considering a Sig in .40 or 357Sig, and I have a quick question about the conversion to 9mm. I know it is fairly simple, just a conversion barrel, maybe some springs and maybe mags, but I have heard that the sights can be a problem after the conversion, in that POA/POI might not be the same between calibers. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this. I read somewhere that .357Sig and 9mm both use #6 front sights, and that .45 and .40 use #8 (I think)...I was just wondering if anyone who had done the conversion saw a big change in POA vs. POI, especially between .40/.357 and 9mm, as I am planning on buying one of those and doing the conversion to 9mm to shoot cheaper at the range. Any input is appreciated!
