Does anyone know where to get one of these?

They have the .38 special model available for $200 less. Seems more in line with the quality/reputation and warranty that comes with those revolvers.

Make sure you handle one before you buy it. The rimfire version doesn't sound very impressive, about equivalent to a painted Taurus:

Comparing with a Taurus 941, the materials and finish of the Taurus are superior. The single action of the Czechpoint and Taurus are similar. The double action on both is heavy, but the Czechpoint is passable, the Taurus is not.

CP 341 and Taurus 941 are comparable. Comparing these two revolvers to a Ruger, the Ruger wins hands down. Dont even put one next to a S&W.

I was hoping for more, I guess I'll pony up some big bucks for a S&W 48. The CP 341 will get shot more and I'll see if the action smooths out over time and if the finish holds up.

If you crossed an RG with a Charter the result is............... I'd look elsewhere.

Darn, Y'all are naysayers to the umpteenth degree!. Haha I've had so many of the so called worst guns... They've all been fine. Maybe I've had good luck, but Ive had very few problems with any of my firearms... I'm sure that revolver is fine too. Keep in mind folks it wouldn't be an EDC, it would be a plinker.

I noticed that none of the naysayers actually shot one or even handled one. If you pick one up make sure o post a range report.

Ruger and S&W both made 9mm revolvers, they were never very popular and command 'collector' prices these days.

If you can actually GET one, why not?

Not that easy to find :) a couple have shown up local from time to time... i dont buy guns online.. and the poeple who have them here simply want too much for a used taurus... eventually ill find my way into one though

If you don't mind me asking why don't you buy online? Especially a new gun from an established vender? I would think the gun you posted in the OP would almost have to be bought online. I would doubt it would be common enough to stumble on to one locally.

Only when i first got into shooting did i guy guns from stores... the open market for guns here in texas is VAST to say the least... id rather keep my name off of the guns if at all possible... not because im going to use it for crime or anything... id just father be able to bury them somewhere if the feds decide to come around for whatever reason and take them..

I have been asking Dan Brown at CzechPoint U.S.A about the Alpa Proj 9231 for a while.

According to Dan, they had some come in around October 2014 and sold out right away.

Now the next target date is Fall this year.

I'm still somewhat interested in the revolver, but I purchased a 9mm PITBULL and a S&W 929 and that goes a long way toward satisfying my desire for a 9mm revolver. I am also looking at getting an LCR in 9mm. I might be all 9 millimetered out by the time these Alfa Proj revolvers come back.
