It seems like a superior design over the standard 1911 slide stop, because it could be easily operated one handed.

Click the link and you can see what it looks like.

Does anyone make, a slide stop like it?

That is an interesting stop for sure, would like to have one to mess with, for now I just use an extended SS on all my 1911's, one handed operation is no prob. Not sure I like the way it requires the grip panel to be "adjusted"

There are aftermarket extended slide stops, but I've never seen one with a downturned extension like that. Be advised that these have been known to jump up into the slide notch - either of their own weight/inertia under recoil or inadvertently pushed by the thumb - and arrest the slide when you still want to be shooting.

The standard stop is difficult to reach with a normal shooting grip, but I can still twist the gun in my hand to reach it. Or you can trip it with the thumb of your support hand.
