Does anyone sell 1911 blank slides?

Not completely machined but unfinished slides, purely blank ones. I don't even care if they have the upper radius cut.

The internals need to be machined properly, and Novak sight cuts would be nice, but the cosmetic parts I want to be able to do myself. I just don't want the choice of basic serrations or $500 slides with something special, when I could create radiused, fishscaled, or golfballed ones myself, cut grooves for barrel porting, and cosmetic slots or the like.

Especially good if I could get them built for 10mm, too.

When I build my own stuff, I like it to be mine.

Those Caspians look good. Would be nice if I could get weird serrations pre-cut, but I'll otherwise be happy to fire up the mill for something unusual.

I'm going to find a chunk of spare aluminum and see exactly how much of a PITA cutting hexes is.

Edit: will any .40 slide work with 10mm, also? Is there any particular functional difference between the radii on the slides (I assume the front spring cover? Or is it the cosmetic cut above and ahead of the frame?) aside from matching a frame to it?

Now I need to dig through, and see if I can't find a 6" or so slide, and a barrel long enough to match and have a bit left to thread...
