DoubleTap 200gr WFNGC hard cast short barrel velocity?

I'm thinking about buying these for my Ruger Security Six 2.75" for woods carry.

Anyone know what velocity I can expect out of such a short barrel?

Would it be to slow for good penetration?

I'm not familiar with the brand you mention or I would try their website for velocity numbers. Hard cast with a gas check is usually moving hence the gas check. That's a heavy 357 load so I'm guessing it's gonna penetrate flesh and bone just fine.

Sounds like your gonna put a sting on anything you smack with that slug. All but the biggest brown bears are gonna be hurting units provided a good hit was made on your part.
