Recently I've been seeing that you can get one heck of a deal on EAA Witness pistols with the polymer frame. Does anyone have any experience with these guns. It looks like it might make a nice carry piece. What kind of reliability and accuracy did you get from yours?

PS I know you can get a used Glock for that price.:banghead:

My experience is that accuracy is fine, but reliability is spotty because the guns usually need stronger springs and the mags are a crap shoot. The full size .45 is IMHO the safest bet since Mec-Gar makes replacement magaziness and these are the same as used in the CZ97.

The 9mm and .40 S&W have several frame styles and variations whcih makes getting good magazines hit and miss.

My favorite feature is the safety can be applied with the hammer cocked and then the slide cycled to load or unload without having to ever take the gun off-safe.
