OK, I'll bite. I don't need any powder or primers but the free HAZMAT triggered by only $99 deserves a look.
So I wandered over to the Midsouth website for a look ...
At 10¢ per primer and $40 per pound of propellant my stock-on-hand represents a current value of over $8000. Day-Um!
As the pricing for these things started to climb again several years ago, I looked over what I had accumulated and wondered if I had allowed myself to be a bit heavy handed in my procurement efforts.
Welp. I now have a definitive answer; NOPE.
10¢+/primer & $40+/powder# is far more than I will consider paying.
I also have large stocks of both bullets & cases so, for me - for now, I will be keeping an eye peeled for well-priced commercial ammo that is offered with free shipping.
On the Plus Side,
Populating the Sales emails for quite awhile, now, 115gr & 124gr FMJ 9x19 field ammo for ~24¢/ea in case lots seems to represent the new bottom ... which is an excellent price these days.
