Does anybody know what the overall length of a glock 20 with a fabarms stock attached is? I have the glock and the stock is stored with a friend. The trouble is, I want to be able to put the correct information on the ATF paperwork without committing a felony.

I believe someone answered in a similar thread that since you haven't built it yet, you don't know the precise length so an approximation is sufficient. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

This is going to be my first step in NFA ownership, I just want to get something going by the time my taxes roll in.

If I weren't going camping this weekend I'd dig mine out and make exact measurements for you. Drop me an IM to remind me after the weekend.

On thing to realize is that all the way extended it is frickin' loooong! I think that is because some shooters don't like the handgun being so close (either for consistency in use or because of the sight design?). I like the similar LOP to a carbine. I'm 6'3" with long arms and don't use the last position and would like something between the second and third to the last. This does make the sighting course. However I plan to mount a red dot to see over my silencer anyway :D

A person of standard build can probably hold the gun in modified Weaver positon if not original Weaver.

I don't use those Korean mags any more: Junk. They only reliable high cap options are Arredondo (20 10mm/17 .45) or Kriss (.45 only).

Mike

PS. Make sure you have an original Gen II or Gen III grip. That stock will not fit SF models (I know this for sure) and I don't think it will fit Gen IV.

PPS. The Roni is a nice option. Here is mine with my custom 9" 10mm barrel from Lone Wolf. It's the 9" target barrel (what they briefly called a California Barrel for no known reason) with 10mm threads (I think they thread a bit longer for 10 than .40--different FS as well). It puts the muzzle blast at about the same position as with the standard Roni shroud attached. In hindsight I could have gone 8.5" or even 8" without burning my hand.

One stamp per gun, multiple options. This is a MechTech .45 ACP with 10" barrel.
