FAL Muzzle brake

Alright guys I need some assistance on this one. I have an FAL that I wan't to put a muzzle brake on because recoil & climb on follow up shots are horrible.
It is a 16.5" barrel and it is not threaded what is your best advice on attaching a brake? Should I just have it threaded or should I use a clamp on, I am leaning more towards the clamp but then i'm still stuck with, " what one should I go with?" thanks in advance for the help everyone.

Have it threaded and run it with a PWS FSC-30 comp. It'll make one heck of a difference. That's what I use on my RFB, and it's a night-and-day change from where it was.
