So after not enough research I ordered a holster from Falcoholsters.com for my P7, they were the only ones who had a reasonably priced, left handed P7 holster that I thought wasn't going to take 6 months to receive.

I ordered on Feb 27th after reading favorable reviews of the product, and according to their website, 10 - 20 business days was the expected time to ship out. I waited a little over 20 days and I saw that my product still had not shipped. I emailed customer service and got a prompt response that they had been very busy and my items would ship around Easter. My items still don't show having shipped and it's now April 17th. I'm sure that sooner or later they might get around to shipping, or they might not. The problem is that I purposely used PayPal so if there was an issue, I could have PayPal reverse the charges. Well, after hearing back from their customer service person I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait a bit longer. Now I'm past the PayPal 45 day window. I have opened a dispute with paypal and with Falco's credit processing company. PayPal like I said can't do anything because it's after the 45 days, and the 3rd party processor can't do anything because they say they just process the transactions...I assume that at some point this holster might (or might not) show up. Clearly Falco has come through for some customers in the past as there have been favorable reports, however a glance at their Facebook page shows loads of unhappy customers who are waiting extended periods of time to receive their holster all who have ordered in the early part of this year. So now the only thing I can do is wait. It just galls me that I'm waiting much longer than stated for something. I wouldn't mind waiting 4 month for something or longer as long as that is what was agreed to up front. If you tell me it's going to take a year and I say "Ok" then so be it, if you tell me it's going to take a month and I say "OK" and it takes 4 months, then that's a problem.

I bought my step-daughter a holster from Falco for Christmas. It was for a CZ70, and they were about it. The wait was just over 30 days, and, when it arrived, the return address was Budapest, Hungary. Evidently, many of their holsters are shipped from former Soviet Bloc locations. The wait was increased due to the international shipping.

My Falco took about 45 days to arrive also. When I emailed them after about 40 days, they said since it was sent via snail mail that there was no way to track it, but it had shipped. I too was a bit miffed about the delivery times listed on their website and actual. When I voiced it to them I got a "oh well" response. Mine too was postmarked Budapest, Hungary and had a note from customs saying it had been opened.........

They are nice holsters, and I wouldn't have minded the wait had I been told to expect a month and a half wait instead of two weeks. They other thing that peeved me was they have a Torrance, CA address, but they charged me a foreign exchange fee. No where on their site did it say anything about that. The site says prices are in U.S. dollars and only other customers in other countries pay an exchange rate. ***???? I know I'll go elsewhere next time.

I never got my Falco, was told it was "lost in shipping". Second one was also "lost in shipping". There was no third attempt.

Have you tried High Noon Holsters? They have several for the P-07.

falco

I ordered a Falco holster for my makarov to finish a shoulder rig I was building. It took roughly 6 weeks to receive it. I did get it and it works wonderfully however the wait time was considerable longer than quoted at the time of purchase. And mine did arrive snail mail from Slovakia. I guess they tried to apologize by sending a "custom" leather key ring with Falco industries embossed on it.

Falco Holster Joke

I ordered a falco holster for my P-7 M8 on 2/11/2012. It arrived on 4/21/2012. It was useless as a holster as the retention screw on the SOB style holster would not create any tension on the weapon and the holster it's self was to big to create any tension. The belt loops were rounded and would not accept the 1 1/4 in belt. It was of generaly poor quality and not worth a cent to our firm. Save your time and money. Buy Galco or Davis or any of the name brands.

I asked for a refund, which I was told I was granted, but on the same day I received an email that my holster had shipped. 'Ray', the customer service guy I've been dealing with, emaild saying I would get my refund in 2 days, but if the holster showed up and I decided to keep it, just resend the funds. That was Monday. My order shows shipped, and cancelled. Nothing in my PayPal as far as a refund. If the holster shows up and it's not awful I will keep it. If the holster and the refund both show up, I will do the right thing and give them the money back for the holster.

I want to think that these guys are trying to run an honest business, and they are just overwhelmed with orders, but they need to be truthful about the timeframe, and it would be nice if they didn't bill until the order shipped. PayPal doesn't honor disputes older than 45 days, which was well short of the '20 business days' I was quoted for turnaround time.

Try Don Hume. They have left-handed holsters for the P7.

My father and I both use Don Hume Makarov holsters and will attest to their quality. They've held up better than the wood grips on the P-64's we carry in them. They ship fast if they have them in stock, and are prompt to notify you if they're not. They'll give you an option to switch to a different color if they have it instead of waiting. Their turnaround time if they don't have it isn't too bad, as I recall. 6 weeks at most. They usually have it, considering I was able to get my Makarov holster right away.

The workshop of the Falco Company is located in Banska Stiavnica, a small town in central Slovakia. They have been around since the early nineties. They started with falconry accessories. They might be a little bit slower and still on the learning curve when it comes to more sophisticated HG holsters, however they are honest people.

The refund came through today. I was shocked! A big problem I have with them is that they set an expectation of 10-20 business days for anything they don't have in stock. Once you buy it, the order status page says 15-25 business days. Everything I've read from customers says its more like 30-40 business days. I'm going on 90 calendar days, something like 55 business days, nearly 3X what was quoted. They charged me the full amount immediately. I used PayPal to protect myself incase the transaction went sour. PayPal only gives you 45 days, which is well within the origional time I was quoted, but way outside of the actual shipping time. That being said, Falco did repond to my emails, always within 2 or 3 days, and when I finally said "Holster OR refund" they did comply with the refund. If the holster shows up I will accept it and I will send Falco the money back.

Like I said, just get yourself a Don Hume. They're good quality stuff. I'm left-handed myself, though I use a right-handed holster and do a cavalry draw (it's no harder to do safely than a normal draw once you get used to it). I find it's more comfortable to wear the gun handle-forward in the 8 to 9:00 position. It prints less and doesn't cause me discomfort when sitting.
