Farrakhan is possibly a KKK member, and his agenda is to incite retalitory attacks from the KKK and the Neo-Nazi movement back onto the Nation of Islam and blacks in general, playing both sides toward the middle. Meanwhile, he sits back and rakes in the cash supporting his stance.

It is the responsibility of Farrakhan to prove this rumor false.

Actually, this is one of the few things I've ever heard Farrahkhan say that I could agree with.

Only makes sense from an economic standpoint. The lake is flooding from runoff waters. The waters around NO are rising. The levee might break one way and flood the richer areas and the French Quarter (esp if a structural engineer was telling you that this side looked bad) or it might break and flood the poorer side of town that brings in zero tourist dollars.

Would you like to leave the direction it's going to move up to Nature's whim? Or would you get proactive and blow the levee so it drains into the part of town you can most live without....economically speaking?

So it wouldn't surprise me a bit if someone in the gov made the decision to salvage the best of a bad situation.

It's pure chance that the 9th ward is also the lowest lying part of NO most exposed to flood danger.

The Quarter was not spared because of the location of the break, but because it and the wealthier areas of town were BUILT ON HIGHER GROUND. Besides, if you're going to suggest that the Bush administration burst the levy to save the QUARTER... well just THINK about it for a second.

Besides, WHAT government? From where? With what? Are you insane enough to suggest that the federal government spent millions and risked exposure to send a team of SEALS into NOLA to detonate a massive mine for the benefit of some slightly less poor people on the other side of the levy? Or did the mayor of New Orleans do it?

I've always been amused by the irony of "Nation of Islam" as a name of the group. Seems rather strange to honor those who were most responsible for selling slaves to the folks who then brought them to the Americas.

spawn camp = kill the enemy where they enter the map, so they dont even have time to get oriented- they just enter and are instantly mowed down or killed with grenades. This is generally viewed as unfair, since it massacres the opposing team and denies them the ability to play the game, except in the most technical sense.

Apparently it is actually true that the government of New Orleans blew levies back in the 1920s or so to flood one neighborhood and spare another, so while it seems very unlikely to have happened in 2005 with a black government in New Orleans, and you can't prove a negative, it's not quite as nuts as it sounds.

If people are really racist and don't want blacks to ever succeed, they should love Farrakhan. His ideas are sure to keep the blacks from ever really rising up and becomming equal. As long as you spend all you time blaiming others, you will never see the point in working hard and making something of yourself. I am not saying that blacks have all the same chances that middle class white people have, they don't but life is unfair. They won't get anywhere by joining the ranks of Farrakhan. They need better leaders that will inspire them to overcome and not to be bitter.

There is a black Democrate from IL. that sounded positive. I forget his name but he seemed like a better role model than Farrakhan or Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. His name is like "Obama" or somthing.
