Fast Police response and what could have been.

Here is a video of the shooting in Ohio. The Police response was incredibly fast. Notice how all the people when hearing the shots, start to cram into the Bar. Notice how fast the Police are to advance and confront the shooter and take him down right before he entered the Bar. Just think of what a few seconds more would have happened. And it shows the Bravery of these gallant Officers.

It is interesting to see the crowd go into a small building when the approaching danger is on the way. Others took on and avoided the crowd. What would you have done?

Years ago I learned folks will try to leave a place the same way they came in. I always find the other exits. If I can I’ll use one of those.

The herd mentality only bunches victims into a nice compact kill zone.

There most likely is something to be learned from just watching this video along with others like the Columbine shooting at the high School.

This is more or less correct with quite a bit of anecdotal evidence to support it.

Reminds me of a story about a plane crash on take off or landing (cant remember) and the plane caught fire. When a plane catches fire there are only seconds to survive or not. The front and wing emergency exits were being bum rushed and the people at the back of the plane were pretty well up the creek. One guy went further back as he knew there was no way he was going to make it to the wing exits in time as there was a crowd of people. He found a small floor hatch and opened it and escaped. There were over a hundred people on board and only around 20 made it out. 25 may have made it if they had followed that guy.
