I dunno it's almost exactly the same size as a Glock 19 but a tad thinner so I'd probably not count that one. Note that the one in your link is the new P225A1, which has a longer grip still.

ok you know your pistol better than I do, SIG 225 too big to be in the contest then.

Pity I only had 5 rounds left. :D. 10 shots probably would have doubled the group size though. The dumbest thing about that revolver is how far it shoots to the right. The orange dot was my aiming point. It's already been back to S&W and that's as good as they wanted to get it I guess. Bothers me somewhat. Before I sent it back it shot twice as far to the right.

Sucks that it won't shoot POA, but I doubt that 10 shots would have doubled the group, we saw all your targets.

Good shooting Pudge, print out some B-3 targets and get yourself in the game.

I'm not that good with a gun, and even worse with a printer, that might just be my contibution. Have been impressed with what's been submitted, just wanted to swell the crowd and keep the thread current so others would contribute.

You can use bought B-3 targets also, I'm probably going out this weekend to submit a couple guns, had a cyst removed off my eyelid two days ago my eye is black and puffed but I should be able to perform. K frame 3 inch .357 is pushing the limits of size but I will in the future start a different challenge that it can be used in a service pistol challenge

Great contest! I will say three things:

1) MAN the B-3 bullseye looks small at 10 yards! My hat is off to those of you who can put the bullets into the X regularly!
2) The sights on my Nickel M-49 were downright useless! The nickel-plated paper-thin front blade was impossible to see against the target sheet, I couldn't make it out at all. It was so tough to see I didn't even try to shoot for record. The sights on the LCP and SP 101 I painted orange, and the Cobra has a Hi-Viz. I think the unaltered LC9 and the SMC 380 sights will be getting that treatment soon, it makes a difference!
3) The Cobra trigger is outstanding. All of these were shot standing, two hand DA, and the Cobra just shoots really, really well for me.

Stay safe!

I got 50 B-3 targets for 17 bucks on Amazon, ordered after I posted last Friday and they were delivered to me on Sunday. That is always an option if you don't want to print them out. :)

Dang nice shooting, Rio! Did you shoot the Cobra DA or SA?

First five shots were the group on the left; 2 10s, a 9, and 2 8s. Then I reloaded, and for the final 5 shots, I concentrated on fully depressing the grip safety... and got 2 8s and 3 7s. I was surprised how much of a shift there was. The first five I was just gripping it enough to release the trigger. It's pretty difficult to shoot with a 1-finger grip and zero sights, and a pretty stiff grip safety. I need to shoot it more.

This was going okay until about 6 shots in when the bashing of my trigger finger against the trigger guard started making me flinch badly and I threw the 7s. I decided to give the LCP another target with my reloads that I can shoot all day (see below).

First, that Cobra target is very nice.
Second, yesterday when I shot those targets it was 46 degrees, today now that I'm shopping for targets and printer ink, it is 15.

15? Brrrr! I was indoors so I didn’t have weather to contend with...only funky lighting that makes guns with anything other than good target, glowing or blaze orange sights tough to see.

All my shooting was DA except the FEG, which was loaded with 5 rounds in the mag and fired DA first shot and SA 4 shots. The SP 101 had a bit of a stack at the end, but I could stage it after the second click. The Cobra I can’t seem to stage very consistently, luckily it’s just a light, clean pull all the way through.

Stay safe!

dang - that's a lot of targets already - with the bar set pretty high already - but I'm still in!!!

PS: from a previous post, it sounds like you've got even more up your sleeve - any hints?
