moderate crimp to the groove, 4.5 HP-38

How is the recoil? I have several hundred similar reloads but they are rather punishing out of my airweight.

I will try to get some targets shot this weekend.

Yeah not much is fun out of an airweight. Out of an M10 they're fine.

2/23/19 was a dreary breezy day, but I had planned to shoot my compact 1911 for score. I had spent a little time building a portable target stand, and I wanted to try it out.
Here is my latest offering in the CCW shootout:

Again I have ragged holes in the target. Maybe I need to change my corrugated plastic (seed corn sign) backer board? Maybe it's because my target blew out of my hand and skittered across the wet concrete floor....?
Anyway, here is a closer look at the bull.

I shot a similar group on the 17th with my SR9C. Also scored 92....at least I'm consistent.

Shot these today after a rather long session with my G17 shooting a few hundred rounds and I was just straight up tired, couldn't keep it together for ten straight.

This was actually my first ever shots with my wife's new carry gun, shot after the G26.

I'm going to give it another go when I'm fresh. Feel like I can do better.

9mm Shield (original version)

I don’t do a lot of slow fire accuracy shooting with my Shield and it shows, especially at 10 yards. I tend to practice double taps probably more like 5-7 yards where I focus more on drawing and shooting quick. I didn’t snap a picture but it was interesting how much better I was with my 2.0 Compact in this same drill. I guess a combination of the longer sight radius and lower felt recoil.

Sadly today I submit my final entry to the ccw challenge.
My final entry only because I am out of guns to shoot, lol!
Again, in keeping with the spirit of the contest, i only fired 10 shots. No practice shots or targets. This SP101 is my original ccw. I have moved on to auto pistols for ccw, but this old SP still is a favorite . 155122571460032694807461751174.jpg
My cast SWC made much cleaner holes, but here is a closer look anyway.....

What a great thread. I enjoyed submitting my targets for competition.
Thanks to all involved.

Just a few notes aside from the competition:
*Ironically, I shot the same score with three of my ccw guns.
*My real pocket gun (lcp) carries easily, but didn't score as well.
*By participating in this challenge, I discovered my SP101 is up to it's old tricks with the sticky firing pin. This is a dangerous flaw, and my revolver will headed back to Ruger asap.

I am glad to have another excuse to shoot my ccw. Every time you shoot, you get a little better.

what I'm seeing with your Glock is 10x,10,10, 9,9. 8,8,8,6,6 which is 84. With your PPS I only clearly see 9 holes which means one shot must be a double hole in the 10 ring so it seems so score looks like 10x,10,10,10, 9,8,8,8, 7,7 which is 87

mavracer so on Walther I see 95 looks more like you have a 4-shot cluster in the 10. Which from what I see the PP also score 95. Good shooting with all of them.

Finished the month with my mouse guns and the R51. These were all reloads using Bullseye powder and coated round nose bullets, 95gn and 115gn. Probably could have done a bit better if it wasn't for the wind, except for the LCPII as it never has been very accurate. The target stand was waving at me and did blow over a few times.

Does the Witness Pavona fit in this category? How about the Shield 380EZ?

So many new guns out there I wasn't aware of. Looked at the specs for your guns yes you can enter. The Shield 380 looks on the bigger side but from what I see about the same as Tony K Kahr CW45 and said yes to his , both just seem to have a big grip but both seem similar in size to a Makarov and Wikipedia lists a Makarov as a "pocket pistol" overall.

.

lol this thread may inspire me to get something. I generally spend funds toward full size handguns and more toward rifles than handguns. So I do have a old Beretta 1934 .380 from my grand dad I may enter just for the sake but the trigger is sooooo heavy the score is going to be bad it is just a unfriendly gun to shoot and I can't believe it was a actual side arm of a military the Italian military.. I do have a Makarov also but it shoots 4 o'clock on the bulls so unless I can adjust the sights it would be a stellar score either.

BC17A that Remington as far as target shooting did pretty good had any problems with it? A month ago I almost bought a Remington RP full size 9mm because it was $299.00 at Rural King and I was "wow a full size 9mm for $300.00?" But then after searching info on it saw it had nothing but problems functioning so I passed on it. There is a youtube vid that shows the RP just failing after failing.
