I just picked up and installed the HiViz fiber optic sight for my Browning Buckmark Standard this evening, and had a chance to take it out to the range before it got dark. Gotta say, it's definitely a lot more accurate than the regular iron sights! I do have a question for you all though, mostly out of curiosity I guess. I'm undecided as to whether I want to have the sights sighted in so that the green "dot" is directly on top of the target, as opposed to halfway or completely below it. It seemed like it was more natural to me to have it sighted in so that the dot was covering my target (now that the front sight is round instead of square), and I was curious as to how you guys have your fiber optic sights set.

I would say to stick with what works for you.
Alternatively, sight it in the way your CCW handguns are.

I have mine where the sight is just below the desired point of impact.

I think the "right" way is the way that gives you repeatable quality results. Because repeatable crappiness is something I can do without help.

Ha Ha Ha!!! I am totally with you on that one!

As an aside, I completely agree with Croyance regarding the sight settings.
