Well here are the photos of my Traditions Flintlock Pistol, sorry about that first photo, I finally assembled it today, the wood to metal fit leaves a bit to be desired. Hopefully it will shoot better than it looks.

Looks real good Noose.
I really like the color that your brown turned out.

I thot this was the gun you shot in your post with the target pic ?

They look so good and gratifying when they're all newly finished with the shiney brass and all.
But then they look so much better and 'at home' once they gain thier patina .

Allright folks here is the other photo of my Pistol, (the 1st one didn't come out so good), and a pic of the GPR, for Jim's benefit ha ha, after it had been shot several times.;)

Both lookin very good Noose.
Great wood on the GP.

If i may make a suggestion ?
Those man made 'flints' ya got there.
Toss 'em out the window and git ya some natural flint.
Yes,the naturals can and do wear down but with real flint and a proper frizzen hardenin, you'll see the sparks pour into the pan and git a much quicker ignition.
( Neccessary for a huntin gun )
That, and if you don't already have 'em,git ya an allen type touch hole.
You'll be amazed at how quick these three mods will make them fire.

Oh,and thanx for the link.
I'm gonna use that product and process to re-do a Hawken .50 i'm rebuildin.

You're welcome Jim, and by the way where do I get the flints which you are talking about. Allthough my ignition with the flints I've been using is pretty quick, at least as quick as the percussion.:D
