FINALLY scratched that itch of not having a double-stack 7.62 Tokarev pistol. I managed to find a variant that, while a little big, manages to get more than 8 or 9 rounds in a magazine.
So, last night at the range, I took my 7.62 Tokarev guns to the range and blew through 144 rounds without even thinking about it.

Here's what I took:

From left to right: Romanian TT-33, CZ-52, and PPS-43C Pistol imported by I.O. Inc, out of North Carolina.
Yes, the PPS-43C is pushing the boundaries of a "pistol", yet it is a pistol per the BATF. AND it's a double stack . The Barrel is 10 inches, and the stock is welded to the lower portion of the receiver. This package retails for about 400 bucks and it comes with 4 35 round magazines. I got this as a curiosity piece and I must say I am impressed with how it shoots. There's hardly any recoil (there'd better not be in something this size) and the banana stick mag makes a dandy extra handle.
One thing to watch though; this thing MANGLES the brass and there are sometimes cartridges that FTF. I also experiened a couple of misfires with the Romanian surplus ammo I was shooting.
