My new rifle will be here tomorrow. I'm so excited. I haven't had a new gun in a long time!
Too bad the 20moa rail is backordered and my scope isnt here yet lol.
I'm excited none the less.

All kidding aside, congrats on your new rifle arriving soon. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, Browning's always make me smile.... actually now that I think about it I own more Browning's than all my other guns combined....I think...nope..close tho.

This is my first Browning, also my first bolt action high power rifle. I do have a bolt action Marlin .22 but that doesnt count.

Aside from my Marlin 336 30-30 all my guns are shotguns. I have a shotgun for every occasion from sabot deer slugs to turkeys. I've hunted deer with my 30-30 for over 30 years. It's my daughters turn with that gun.

I bought this Browning for my daughters too but I'll be using it to. They can have it when I croak lol . That's why I bought the walnut hunter. It'll be more of a heirloom than a plastic stocked gun IMO.

Well Its a great choice for a first foray into bolt action hunting rifles. My Abolt is one of two rifles I dont think ill ever let go.

I sure think so! I know walnut can get fancier but this gun has a lot nicer wood than then .243 Xbolt that made me want one. This gun just fits me and feels so perfect. I hope it shoots good!

I have a Bushnell Elite Tactical lrsti on order, 3-12x

I had envisioned a nice Leupold but just read way too many horror stories about them, nothing but praise about the lrst's though.
