I recently received a great looking Finnish M28/30 as a gift, only problem is - the rear sight notch has broken off the rear sight leaf. Upon closer examination I found that the actual sight notch is a very small separate part, and it must have caught on something and snapped clean off, as the small screwed and a piece of it are still attached to the leaf.
After a quick search online, the closest thing to a replacement I've managed to find is here,

It's the entire rear sight leaf of a Finnish M39, a different model - looking at photos online and in some reference books, I think the rear notch is virtually identical, and I should be able to remove it from the M39 rear sight and put it on my 28/30 without any problems.
Does anyone have any experience/suggestions on this? Or better yet, have both a M39 and a 28/30 to do a quick comparison for me?
