Is there an accepted dimension for the FP hole relative to the FP diameter,
.001,.002 or bigger?
Specifically I'm wanting to drill out the FP hole that was welded over to de-mill a FN P35 slide. The FP of my Browning Hi Power mikes at .070. I don't have a set of number drills. It looks like a 49 or 48 would work. I may have to buy an extended length bit. I want to use the existing hole on the inside as a guide. The head of my caliper is too big to get inside the slide completely and give an accurate measurement but what I do get is .0715ish.

It's no big deal if I can't do it. I suspect it was from one of the SARCO red guns they used to sell. It had already been bead blasted but I found a tiny speck of red in the ejector spring hole. Other than the FP hole it's a very nice slide. Fits a little looser on my BHP than the original but all in all not bad. Lugs are pristine.
