first ar 15 question

I am looking at purchasing my first ar 15 and I have aquestion about sights. The ar I want has a flat top and a front sight. Will any detachable carry handle line up with the front sight? I have found an doublestar ar 15 and a doublestar detachable carry handle.

Here you go: It's all about zeroing the sight after you put the carry handle on. I'm pretty sure that what ever sight you put on with a fixed front sight, it will work. I'm from the ERA of fixed carry handle uppers on M16A2s and they always worked fine when the rear sights were changed out.

Yes should work fine. Do some searches about Zeroing in your AR with the detachable carry handle sight. It is slightly different. Just remember 25=300 and 50=200 and adjust from there. Congrats!
