from the 99 Cent store

after using flat faucet washers from Harbor Freight Tools and only getting a near -perfect seal , I tried to ge a better tighter seal with the RTV silicone sealant

a perfectly sealed airgun should hold the Co2 gas indefinitely or at least a few days, my 20 year-old Crosman 38T does that

on the other hand my leaky Crosman Powermatic 1600 Co2 16 shot BB gun only last half a day

after sealing the replaced counter-sunk flat faucet rubber washer with Pro Seal RTV silicone gasket sealant and firing only 1 shot to seat the piercing washer, I left to gun to cure for 24 hours for he sealant to get hard
the leaking gun now holds gas for over a day

I can imagine now the Pro Seal RV Gasket sealant can fix any Co2 airgun without removing the old cracked silicone seal and disassembly of of gun losing vital parts like a safety spring and latch

And save $3.49 from buying a Faucet washer kit at Harbor Freight Tools and having to countersink drill it

A silicone seal kit with other parts included can cost up to $40 bucks plus shipping cost and delay

this stuff only cost 99 cents at any 99 Cent Store or $4.99 for a large 3 ounce tube at Harbor Freight Tools

subsequently , I will have to repair a Crosman 357 with quad seal O-rings and cartridge seal with just the RTV sealant and some disassembly

Hope this stuff will also work for U withou a whole lot of hassle

I was lucky to find a box of 300 Army surplus Crosman 12 gram ,Co2 cartridges on Craigslist for $45 bucks

a single 12 gram Crosman Co2 cartiridge cost about a buck each at a Big 5 store

the US Army used $20 Daisy 200 Co2 airguns
