floating barrel?

Hi guys,
Is it hard to float a barrel on a mini 14 and is it necessary if it is a stainless synthetic? how would you go about doing it. I am going for accuracy thanks

Cozyc, it takes more than floating the barrel to get a Mini-14 to shoot well. They're inherently inaccurate.

Sadly though, he's completely right. I have yet to figure out why Ruger doesn't just charge $50-$100 more and "fix" their rifles before selling them.
