“I think at first blush people thought that we’d have a shootout at every fender bender or argument, just like the old Wild West,†Shurden said. “The radicals always try to scare people, but these are good, law-abiding citizens. They’ve got to have a clean record, no history of mental illness. They’re all good folks, and it’s worked real well.€
