So is it difficult for you mainland Europeans with governments that allow it to get firearms imported or is it something that can be fairly easily arranged? Seems like finding dealers with exactly what you want on hand might not be easy in a small country.

It was very easy until the USA introduced the ITAR... for a couple of years it has been a pain to get even AR accessories.. We are treated like talibans..

it's still pretty easy anyway, and we have european manfacturers as well..

I just want to say thanks to everyone who posted their collections on here so far, it's great to see what firepower you guys have over seas, and when I say firepower, I mean FIREPOWER (Ma-Deuce), but once again thanks.

It's very easy to get all brands of weapons (in Luxembourg at least) except the ones from America :( My favourite dealer had to wait over 1 year to receive a batch of Savage rifles. American ARs are pretty much impossible to get right now. There are other, very good brands on the market for us, but a lot of people would prefer an American one just like most people would prefer an original Russian AK.

Yeah... :(

But I'm quite happy with my Dlask Arms :) Will post pictures of that one later, too.

What brand of ARs do you own, if I may ask?

edit: I don't know if this is the right thread to ask about this, but I've heard (from you I think) about ProTell (that's the name right?) in Switzerland and was wondering if you know if there are any other European organisations that fight for gun rights? If anyone, I thought you might know... ;)

I own AR's from Sabre Defense Industries, Armalite, 3x Colts and one franken 22lr AR with a Swiss lower (WFC) and a Czech upper (V-22).

I've heard Dlask are quite good, and the one that I handled was just fine.

Yeah, Pro Tell, this is right.. Personally I am member for Pro Tell and the NRA. There are a couple of european organisations, but they aren't much known or usefull.. There is the Antac in France for example... but frankly, I couldnt give you any good advices here.

This is one of the best informative threads on HighRoad. I have always heard the left-wingers talking about how Europe is so safe because they have no guns, and didn’t know if that was correct or not; about having no guns.

I’m glad to learn America is not the only place with the right to arms. However, we still have work to do here. We’re not completely there yet but we’re getting closer.

Of course I already knew about the Swiss, but the lefties will lie about Suisse every chance and say it isn’t like that at all.

It seems that some of the other countries have an even better situation than we Americans in some things.

Now if we can just get Canada straightened out.

I'm a US expat living in New Zealand; we are allowed FA weapons and semi's that don't hold more than 7 rounds without a permit. We register the person, not the gun. Sorta like the US under Regan, that's why I moved here. I can build any semi, own any semi or auto as long as I prove i'm not a criminal. small step but heaps better than what I lived with under Clinton.

Calibre44,

I absolutely LOVE that weihrauch, have a HW-85 in .177

and have these pcps

Where abouts in the UK are you?

I think what I love the most about shooting air is there is no cleaning and it costs the price of a pint to spend an entire day shooting!

I own just a small collection, but I'm very proud of it:

Regards from Italy,
Goerz

Hi Goerz,
Superb rifle (more informations about it ?)
The wood seems to be in excellent condition :)
The SP-01 & Kimber are very nice too.

@ Calibre44 : I like so much your Lee Enfield (but I have to confess I have a very little preference for the "Jungle Carbine")
To be the happy owner of a Lee Enfield is an old dream I will undoubtedly realize "one of these days" :)

Kaboom I envy you and your glock 18s, same with the P210s molon.
And I wish to have a second one, just to have one in each hand  ... Oups ! I just hope my girlfriend will not read this :p She's a little bit nervous after the "MA-Deuce Affair" :D

"See You soon" ;)
Ka'boom
