This morning while doing some reading on the horrible shooting at VT I came acrossed an article on the reaction's of the "world". They all seemed to echo the same sentiment that if the US had tougher gun laws we wouldn't have the problems we have today. A thought popped into my head while reading this article, do you think that future political and economic pressure from other contries will eventually bring about stiffer gun laws. In todays world it seems that every "major" contry is linked economically, and one's political situation has some effect on other contries political environment. You look at Britian, Canada, and Australia, they all have very strict gun laws and they all complain about our apparent"lack" of control. Now I personally give two squirt's of the yellow stuff less about what other contries feel about gun control in their own country, but do think it's possible that an alliance of these locked down state's could one day have enough pull to lead to tougher gun laws here in the States? Even the mighty US depends on it's allies to a degree to survive in todays world. What are your thought's?
