One tried to sell and wound up trading to another. He tried to sell and I think was asking too much. Got offered to me at a very reasonable price, so I put it out of its Classified Ads Misery. Spent about an hour with some Mothers Mag Polish hand rubbing out the swirls where someone had tried to polish with a Dremel Tool. I think it turned out very nice. Probably do a little touching up on the numbers matching grips and it will stay with me a while. Nickel is hard to photograph so forgive the less than great pictures

Why not polish the T-grip up too? That gold finish ought to come off and leave you with shiny aluminum. Love those little guns, I have the blued version with a bk grip sitting in my desk as we speak.

The gold T grip is black under the finish. Probably would polish out to a nice black which would look nice on a blue gun but this one needs a nice shiny chrome one.

I was not aware of that, so I've learned something today. You might luck into one on ebay, but the silver ones are harder to find than the blued ones. I hunted a silver one for my M66 for months before I finally bit the bullet and ordered from Tyler's. Took better than 6 weeks but it finally arrived. That's an option, albeit a last resort. Again, congrats on a beautiful piece!

Ohhhh Ohhhhhh...Bright shiny thing!!

This made me chuckle out loud and smile big time.

My best friend and shooting buddy (Jackie) had a beautiful nickel plated 4" Model 34,,,
It is the gun on the left in this photo.

She told me that when she turned 11 years old her father took her to a gun shop,,,
Then told her she could have any .22 pistol she wanted.

I complimented her on her choice and asked her why that gun,,,
Her reply was, "It was shiny!"

Jackie passed away a few years back,,,
Her Brother gave me the gun as a memento of our friendship.

This is one gun I might give away,,,
But I will never sell it.

Please forgive my ignorance, but bk???

I didn't realize Burger King was making gun accessories.
(with the beating they're getting from micky d's, I guess they gotta make their money somehow.)

Another S&W beauty! I had a Model 38 that was nickel plated and it was quite the looker too! Nowadays I roll with polished stainless for the bling look!

You did a great job polishing that one. Its really the smart way to go if you want a polished gun. You get the best of both worlds and if you every get a scratch, just polish it out! I've done a few through the years, but don't really have the time or patience to do a great job like you did on yours. You could sell that one for nickel and most would never know it.
