I see one from time to time but usually beat up and/or over priced. Ran across this beauty this week and couldn’t resist. Belgium made in 1967. As a bonus had the pouch and manual. Pictures are from my iPad and don’t come close to doing it justice. It’s almost perfect. One little scratch on grip and a couple of tiny handling marks. I’m tickled to death. And yes, it will get shot.

Congrats Eddie!

Now you're doing it with a Browning Hi-Power what you typically do with S&W revolvers!

Keep up the good work!

Nice classic pistol. I almost bought one of these few years ago. It was early post war pre-Browning gun. Internal extractor, alloy magazine follower. The price was very fair I don't know why I didn't buy it.

Then there is still hope for me!

Nice catch! I’ll bet it shoots as good as it looks!

I am a Smith Revolver Freak down to the core, but over the years I have owned several Hi Powers, but all were shooter grade. The ones I had in the past were really nice shooters. Its one of the only Autos I've ever really enjoyed shooting. To me there is a huge difference in a Steel gun versus a Plastic Gun. I know some of the newer guns are as accurate and dependable, but I guess its because I'm from the old school that I like a Steel Gun. Same feeling I get when I shoot an old 1911.

I actually like that knot in the grip wood, gives it character.:)

Though Im surprised it made it through QC inspection.....lol.

Nice catch. You'll clearly love it.

(I was in the same boat...had a couple of FEGs but wanted the real thing. Bought a surplus beater and had it refurbished...but still wanted a really nice one that hadn't been worked on. Finally found one that hit the sweet spot and now I have two.)

That’s awesome.

I never understood all the hubbub around the Hi power, until I handled one. If I’d had $1000 on me at the time, I’d have gone for it.
