^clink^

here's your free netbeer! enjoy.

I'm happily kicking myself right now. I just dumped all the money that I had squirrled away for buying a m98k, #4MK1, and 400 rounds of ammo into the purchase of an su-16ca on gunbroker.

I figured that this is about as close as I'll ever get to regaining my bushy ar15. The price is also about as fair as it's going to get as well.

My friend's su16 is a jam happy, but he seems to be the exception. Hopefully I will not be joining him.

For now, it's time to buy doodads...

I'm waiting for the belching and moaning from the arf crowd any minute now. You could have stirred them up even more by saying it was a Daewoo. :p

SU-16

I got one when I paid off the mortgage as a reward to myself. Fun little rifle. I also got a case of Wolf and blew 1,000 rounds through it just to see how well it would work. As a one time Q.A. engineer these rifles always intrigued me. I've had mine for over a year and a half. No gun related failures yet. It just keeps on ticking. I ran the Wolf through it because it is dirty ammo and I wanted to see how hard it was to clean out. A breeze compared to my AR's.

For awhile I had the compact forearm kit, a Harris Bi-pod and a Leapers T168 scope installed just for the bling effect. Got a lot of looks at the range as people could not figure out what it was.

I think you will like it a lot. Great customer service too. Can't drink and type at the same time so my brew is cooling in the fridge.

Congrats, I've had an "A" model for I guess two years now, wish they had the CA when I bought mine, I think that's the perfect compromise. I recently switched to Black Hills 52 gr. Moly coated HP's in mine and the groups have gone down nbelievably. Used to be a 2.25-2.5" gun, now it's consistantly around 1.5".

Keep us posted- I'm interested to see how it turns out.

My pal got a brand new CA that just did some unholy things to the rounds during it's chronic FTFs on its first range trip. It's back at Kel Tec, hopefully being fixed.

Really nifty (right up to the "not working" part) little rifle though.

.

=)

have another.

has anyone had any experience with the levang compensator, by the way? I've heard that one of the neat little side effects of the levang is that it reduces sound to the shooter since gas is directed outwards.
