Malamute - you're right, I'm not judging it yet, I just mean that in general I want the new one to be a decent gun. Maybe it is, and I'm hoping so. I just mean that even if they had to put $1,000 MSRP I would rather pay whatever I need to pay to get a quality gun that I can put a lot of rounds through and that is reliable and will last.

wojownik - it is not available yet, if you read the article it says the ATF just approved the importation of it. Probably will be 6 months or more before we start seeing any real quantity of them. And yes you'll be able to put a folding stock on it (legally), that's what makes it fun! Not a goofy pistol lol.

I did read the article, and noted several significant discrepancies from other accounts, for instance that ATF actually gave initial approval in late January ( not a final approval in Feb) and that a sample was going to be provided to ATF in April - meaning that actual final approval for importation could still yet be pending.
