Yes, you are missing something...Good! Hornady has a program called Get Loaded. http://www.hornady.com/get_loaded.php Here is their list of bullets that you can get with the program. http://www.hornady.com/media/get_loaded.pdf They aren't the cheapies either.

If you buy the press that I have on the left, you get 1000 free bullets. If you buy the press on the right, you get 500 free bullets. If you buy Hornady zip spindle dies, the 4 red die boxes in the upper right corner of the picture, you get 100 free bullets per set of dies. These bullets cost me a grand total of $42.70 in shipping. The 1000 bullets cost $12.95 shipping, 500 bullets $9.95, and the 100 bullets $4.95 each.

Hornady started the program last November, and it will run until December 2007. Very great deal and bullets.

It took about 2 weeks. The submission form says to allow 4-6 weeks. I sent them the forms out within 3 or 4 days of each other and got 2 boxes 3 days ago and 1 box yesterday. I asked if they were going to give free bullets for buying the case feeder and they said they liked the suggestion and may add that to next years program. I just asked if they will do anything for the promotion for the 366 shotshell press. It would definitely be nice if they did.

Actually, I'd seriously consider it for a second press. If the price of components keeps going up, that press will be almost free before the offer expires. Maybe next Christmas....

Just ordered my LNL today. I had some discounts from Cabelas, got the press and two shell plates for $285.00. After I get my free bullets my LNL will be just over $100.00. Wonder how many are going to jump on this deal. Cabelas has more than 50% of the Hornady dies sold out and 3 out of the 15 shell plates are sold out.
