I hate brass prep..... And Ive tried a few different methods of trimming/chamfering brass over the years. Lee, Lyman, RCBC (hand crank and motorized), and found that the trimmer I bought from Doug Giraud, at www.giraudtool.com absolutely blows away others in speed and eliminating steps. It trims to length, and chamfers the inside and outside of the neck all at the same time, REAL fast. Any of you who shoot alot, like me, (SR and HP shooters especially) will appreciate this tool. Check it out, I guarantee you`ll love it!

Yup! Got one on the recommendations I read here. It was the first case trimmer I ever bought, and I can't imagine trying anything less. Brass prep is incredibly fast and easy.

For $330 I was hoping it would go downstairs in the night, rustle though all of my brass, separate it, clean it, then trim it, and finally put itself away. :D

Girauds are top drawer, but dont forget about the Gracey as well. They cost a little less, but do a fine job, quickly.

Doug has even worked on my Gracey and "souped it up" a little. He is a good guy and builds great machines.

I'm impressed with my left arm's ability to suck up the pain when I tell it that it's replacement will cost us $330+ dollars.

My arm even made the suggestion that we could take that old 12v Ryobi drill, power it with a power supply, and use it chucked up on the shaft of our lowly RCBS Trim Mate Pro and have ourselves a power trimmer for under $100.

My arm has always been smart.

Swingset, my right arm argees with your left arm; wallet too! I will hand crank for a while still - I do enjoy it. One of these days tho ...
