I took my Glock 17 and XD-9 to the range this evening and shot them side by side with the same ammo.
I just started using the Glock 17 for IDPA stock service pistol competition. The XD-9 can't be used in that category, so it is my home defense pistol for now. They are both stock, about the same age and have had about the same number of rounds through them. BTW, both have been completely reliable with all different brands and types of ammo.
I shot 5 rounds from each several times. I consistently shot the G17 slightly low and to the left. I shot the XD to the center of the target. I shot my G19 the same when I had it - slightly low and left. I shoot my GI .45 and GP100 to the center also.
Anybody know why I shoot the Glocks so different? :banghead:
