Well, just recently I bought a Glock 27 because I wanted a small 40 for when I go in the woods. I shot maybe around 350-400 (if that) thought it using Remmington UMC 180gr and the Winchester WB from Wally World. As I was cleaning it, I noticed a wierd mark inside the "dust cover" of the frame. It looks like the slide made contact with the frame and kinda shaved a small amount of plastic away from the bottom of the dust cover behind the serial number metal strip. It shaped like a U. I know this is kinda hard to write, but if you have a Glock, look at the frame from the top and look right where the dust cover is...look to the back kinda where the recoil rod would sit. It's maybe around 1/2 inch shaped mark shaped like a U. Also, there is a little piece of plastic that looks like it can be broken off (really tiny). I called Glock and the support guy said he never heard anything about it. He said I could send it in if I wanted to. I aplogize in advance, as I do not have access to a digital camera. This kinda freaks me out as the gun is more or less new :banghead: I don't know if this is an issue and should send it in, or if its normal where. I also notice some slide "peening" , but I checked on that and it seems normal for the .40 glocks...I read that on Glockfaqs.com If anyone has any idea's, let me know.
Thanks!
