The pistol make and model really makes no difference to the selection of the optic. You can profit from hearing from folks mounting red dots on all sorts of pistols. I have several and firmly support the Burris Fast Fire III and Vortex Venom. They are nearly identical with regard to high quality and value. This is the sweet spot for both in pistol red dots, the $225 area. Highly recommended.
I run 1-3 MOA for slow fire target work at the range and 5-8 MOA for SD and HD. The larger dot is best for close work, rapid target acquisition and fast follow up. The smaller dot is for precision work and work at longer distances.
