Does anybody make an aftermarket barrel for the Glock 42 yet. If not, has anybody heard of someone planning to make an aftermarket barrel for it. I have two Glock 42s and both of them have chambers so oversize, that they will split the cases on around 10 out of every 250 rounds fired. Don't know why they made them so oversize as my 19s chambers aren't even close to that loose.

My wife's 42 doesn't split cases either. Early or later G42s? I know some of the very early G42s had hand rework on the feed ramps, while later G42s had a redesigned feed ramp. Perhaps you should contact Glock and have them look at one of them, and include some sample spent brass.

F-111 John, kokapelli, thanks for your responses. To answer your questions, no not reloads, have had split cases with factory Winchester, PMC, and Federal fmj loads. Was hoping to harvest and reload the spent brass, but now am afraid to reload them and shoot them in the Glock. Don't know when they were made, but they were purchased new within the last two months. Serial numbers are both abcf0xx. The chambers on both measure .388 of an inch, measured 1/4 inch into the chamber. I also measured a friends 42 with serial # abbpxxx, it also measures .388, so pretty sure not a defect. My wife's Sig p-250, also in .380, only measures .381 at the same point in the chamber. So a pretty sloppy chamber on the Glock in my opinion.

I have tried to reload some of the brass shot in the Glocks, hoping to shoot it in my wife's P-250, and the cases are so stretched that a fair percentage of the case walls are buckling when I try to resize them. In case someone asks, dillon 550 with dillon carbide dies.
