What aftermarket barrel for a Glock 26 do you recommend? Please point me in the right direction.

I just installed a "drop-in" Storm Lake in my G-22. It was a true drop-in. Nicely finished, and prompt delivery.

LWD works for me. FYI, CTD sometimes sells their barrels cheaper than from LWD, direct.

I had a LW barrel. They most likely produce quality barrels. My example may have been the exception rather than the rule. In place of LW I use KKM.

Storm Lake from Midway
40 to 9mm, G23
plug and play
4,000 rounds MBC small ball
flawless, accurate

I wasn't very please with Lone Wolf. I ordered a barrel for my G21 and it was a little too small to actually fit a .45 ACP. Then, they took 6 weeks to refund my money.

Did the barrel not fit the gun, or did your ammo not fit the chamber/barrel??

If it was the ammo not fitting the chamber, was it jacketed "factory" or lead reloads?

Just askin'

I put a LWD .40 conversion barrel in my G29 and had to run it through several dremmel tool/range test cycles before it would function properly. The front of the chamber area kept wedging in the front interior of the slide where it tapers down, and the slide would stick open. Works great now with 400+ rounds and no malfunctions, but a barrel shouldn't need work to function properly.
