We'll gentlemen and ladies, it's that time. I'm going in for the second round. Yep, marriage. By this time tomorrow I'll no longer be single. Pretty excited, except for the paying for it part. You ever notice how you start planning something that is supposed to be small and not overly expensive. I'm really trying to figure out how people do that because we failed miserably. ;) Eh, it's only money, right?

To keep this gun related. I'm going to be carrying my 642! :D If you remember one of my old post about my future wife outing me at a funeral, well she's come around. A few weeks ago we were on our way to Boston to pick up our wedding rings at the Jewelers Building and as we are parking she looks at me all serious like and says: "Are you carrying the Bitch!" It was so funny the way she said it that I started laughing pretty hard. She was laughing to. When walking to the place I told her that a Bitch is really a term for a shotgun or something equivalent. She just looked at me and said: "Well I guess you'll have to teach me all those terms. No problem I say!

CONGRATS MAN! I'm glad to hear she came around. Given some time, and teaching of jargon, maybe she'll be carrying too?

she's coming around.
She just might be a keeper.
But.... she will go after every gun you have.
walking arm in arm with a packing woman can be a turn on. Unless it's my daughter.

Congratulations Rockrivr1, (sucker)

I think a plung is a wall-mount 220v model. I don't know if it will be needed during the honeymoon, but it's best to be prepared.

Congrats and good luck.

What would be really cool is if she had a Walther in her garter.:what:

My Sister has that beat. She got married in a gun store! She wouldn't tell me if she was packing..."That's why it's called concealed carry. Noone knows if you are or not!"

I think we should all have a moment of silence for poor ole Rockrivr1. :neener:

Congrats. I hope everything goes well. Mine will be coming up before long. My girl is slowly but surely coming around. It sure is nice when they finally see the light like your's did.

Congratulations! May you have many, many happy years together at your local range.

Very descriptive re: "the BITCH?!" Har! That's funny :O) Sense of humor AND coming over to the gun side: all good signs, my friend.

I wish you both many happy years "home at the range!"

We're into our 36th year (the last probationary year.. so it may work!) and I still get a warm glow watching the little red head blasting away with our S&W model 65!

Take Care
