Hello,
I am in need of facts and advice from owners past and present of the Gold Cup National Match Enhanced Version in .45 ACP. Did or does your pistol have an extended ejector. I'm being told that mine which I owned for 12 years and sent in for fixing of a loose extractor did not have one and that Colt's of the above model Never had extended ejectors except for .38 and .9mm. I can really use your help. And as many replies as possible, maybe even pictures to prove my point.

Thanks for your response Kruzr! I maybe/must be mistaken?

Duh.........I remember now.......I changed it out myself a few years back when I started shooting inside frequently. Mine originally had a GI style ejector, and the brass went straight up, bouncing all over me. The extended ejector tossed them to the side.

XavierBreath,
That's a nice looking Gold Cup. Did it come with the front serration and the extended thumb safety?
Kruzr,
Thats' the type in mine now including a little lint. I just could swear mine originally had the extended. So far, no one but me, has the GI type. Hmmm.... me crazy or the whole world? Thanks for the responses Gentlemen.

No, the forward slide serrations, ambi safety, beavertail and hard chrome job were all done at the Gunsite smithy back when Kimber was making forward slide serrations all the rage.

I enjoy the looks when some Kimber dude approaches me at the range to find out what kind of Kimber I'm shooting...... :D
