For the first time in a long time I did not gag when I bought ammo

Dicks sold me Remington Gun Club target shells for 4.98 a box and Remington .223 for 6.98 a box and I used the $25 dollar off coupon

Now I need some good prices on pistol ammo

A Dick's coupon that works on ammo!?! Seriously? If it's on the web, please share!

I just happened to go in Dicks last night.

I noticed they had Remington .380 ACP marked $49.95 a box for FMJ.

I didn't even ask!

Walmart has good prices on pistol ammo here in Central Florida. 9mm Federal FMC, 9.99 box of 50, 12.99 for .40. UMC .45 acp 84.99 for 250 round pack. White box WW in 50 and 100 round boxes also available at good prices.

Still having trouble in north Florida with availability of .38spl and .357. They always seem to have tons of 9mm and .40. When they have ammo in stock, prices are good. $30/100 .38spl is great (WWB).

$50 a box for .45. That seems a tad on the high side.

What do you think a 50 round box of .45 Gold Dot or Hydrashok sells for these days?

i buy remington 12 ga low brass by the case, $40 for 200 rounds and sometimes it is a buy one get one half off deal so it's $60 for 400 rounds

The Dicks here in Concord, NC still has bad ammo prices. The pistol ammo is twice as much as it is at Wal-Mart. Rifle ammo is sometimes okay when its on sale, but mostly its still pretty high, especially wolf. I can't not justify paying 7.99 or 8.99 for 20 rounds of wolf.

Glad to hear it. I haven't been impressed with Dick's prices in the past.

They are building a new one about a mile and a half from my house now - I think I'll set foot in there once, but hopefully I'll have a reason to go back. Cheap ammo (that I want) may be that reason.

Not really ammo, but I was in scheels in appleton, wi and was surprised that they had cci primers on sale for $25 per 1k. I really didn't need any, but at that price I bought some anyhow.

I do not know about other states, but here in Illinois, Cabellas has S&B 9mm 115 grain hardball for $8.99 a box of 50, no limit and on sale till the end of the month. I use the stuff in my Glocks, my Kel Tech Sub 2000, and a Hi Point 995TS, and it feeds and ejects reliably, and it is accurate and burns pretty clean. I like it better than Winchester White box.
