in AUS 8A.
While I'm a Becker fan and have the larger knife I wouldn't have it in AUS 8A if I hadn't HAD to have it when it came out. Knife Center did have a special run made in D2 not long ago and it was gobbled up before I could get one by the Beckerheads.

I considered the D2 mini for one of my more recent knife purchases. The "Made in China" diverted me from that quickly. Got a couple Made in Taiwan knives instead.

Why? It can't be a quality issue from KaBar's manufacturing partner in China.

No doubt. I even sent pictures when my Warthog decided to dismantle itself in my pocket. The screws holding it together didn't come out, they broke in half. But their Made in China stuff has a lot of variety and likely makes them a good profit. So I don't think problems with a knife under $50 they really care about. In my case, first thing I look at when knife shopping is the country of origin.
