I put a Kel-tec P32 on layaway back in May and picked it up July 25.
I took it out this weekend and the slide locked open a couple times each mag usually 3rd shot and 5th shot.
When the gun locked open on an empty mag I had to drop the magazine and manually depress the hold open bar to close the action.
Today I took it back to the shop and asked for store credit. The manager had me demonstrate and asked me what kind of ammo I was using.
I told her S&B and Aguila... she says "well thats your problem, Cheap ammo."
I told her I didn't agree and showed he the slide lock open problem.
Another guy that works there dug up some winchester 32acp and told me to in back with him.
He loaded up the P32 and fired into a cast iron tank with a 5'' diameter tube going into it.
Sure enough the P32 locked open 2 times during the test and they gave me full credit toward an Inland M1 carbine that I already had put some money towards.
I thanked them for doing the right thing by me and told them that I will keep coming back to buy guns from them.
I'm not sure how many shops stand behind their used guns like this.
With all the bad gunshop threads lately I thought a little good news was needed.
