I have a La Coruna FR8 in the mail, I have the feeling that the little carbine, with its metal butt plate, must have a fairly nasty kick. to avoid bruising and enjoying shooting, I would like to fit on the stock a slip-on recoil pad. I don't want to have a pad fitted as I want to keep the rifle stock in its original condition. Any advice, preferences?

I have a leather velcro closure recoil pad that is easy to move from rifle to rifle.
