I just recently got a Springfield XD 40 Subcompact, and I've tried a few holsters out, but nothing is really comfortable. In fact, I find it to be a lot more comfortable to just stick my gun in the waistband (a la mexican carry) at the 3:30 position. This tends to ride pretty high, with the trigger visible above the waistline, and with a 15-20 degree forward cant. While I'm content with doing this, it's not exactly the safest, most secure way of doing things.

Does anybody know of a good holster that can accomodate me?
-IWB, tuckable
-rides high
-15-20 degree forward cant
-two belt attachment points for security/weight distribution

I carry my XD-9 sub in a Comp-Tac C-TAC. I like it...it's not quite as comfortable as leather but a great holster.

If I had the money I'd probably get one of these:

The comfort of leather combined with the fast draw and positive retention of kydex.

Yah, I might end up getting one of those - but it looks like the ride height isn't as high as I would like it, plus, it looks like it might be too wide for me.

I'm with zaijan on this.

Have tried a "CLIPDRAW" clip to try and solve the problem.
Rides high with trigger above wasteband, but cant changes
a bit too much.(SIG 239 9mm)

So the question is still open.
Is there a High ride 15/20 degree cant IWB out there?

Alot of you may dissagree with this... but an Uncle Mike's Neoprete IWB pocket works really well if you take a few moments to stitch it up so it wraps tight around the trigger frame. The Springer 1911 and the Glock 27 have the same circumfrence too. It's not a snap top, but with the stitching and a tight belt, it works great for me. I wouldn't wear it without a belt though, the clip wouldn't stay on the pants and you can't keep it tight up against your body.

Comp-Tac C-Tac.

If that doesn't ride high enough, call Gregg and JB there at the shop, see if they can't whip up something that will ride a bit higher. Comp-Tac's pretty flexible about setting people up.
