Ok saw a post on another site. Guy found some powder at Bass Pro. He lives in RI.
This is posted on BP's site for Special Instructions for Powder
" The sale of primers, powders, and pyrodex is prohibited to the states of Delaware, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island,and Jacksonville, FL"
Ok now for the Stumper. I live in Maine and we have absolutely no statute that regulates the internet sale or shipment of powder. In fact I have ordered powder from several other places and have never heard of this before. I have been going back and forth with BP's customer service for an explanation but have gotten no where.
Anybody got a clue if there is some obscure Maine law that prohibits this??
