0AD63CDE-FBA2-4F73-96D4-C9B4C570EA1F.jpeg Traded a budget AR today for this 6” GP100. I started shooting revolvers when I was young, and still love them. Auto pistols have their place, but there’s nothing like a powerful revolvers ignition.

Mine, stainless with the same grips and a 4” barrel. I stick to 38 special loads however.

When broke in, GP100's can be very smooth revolvers and are very robust. Your's looks like a nice one.

Nice revolver. I have a Talo edition with the non-fluted cylinder and a Match Champion. I put the Wolff spring kit in both the revolvers and the trigger is amazing in both guns.

Love my GP100s. I really prefer the blued over the stainless versions, although I do have both flavors. :)

As a revolver guy I would have made that trade. Good move. I have that blued, 6 inch barrel version and love it with 38 special reloads. It will handle hot 357s of course but I save those for an old, mid-1980s, Redhawk. Between the Redhawk, GP100, and a stainless Security-Six I do have to decide which one goes to the range that day. Such an embarassment of riches. (Sigh!)

I put the Wolff kit in my stainless GP100 and completely disassembled and polished all trigger components. It has the smoothest trigger I’ve ever used in a revolver. Watched a guy on YouTube do it. It’s time consuming but worth it.

Thank you sir. Forcing cone looks great, and lockup is tight; only a slight ring from the cylinder hand. I’ve actually been looking for a 4” GP100, but couldn’t turn this deal down.

I have the Talo GP100 6" too! Really nice gun and I love the unfluted look. It suits the firearm better than flutes and plays into the "it's a tank!" Look and feel.

I kept my springs stock and slapped a red dot on it. It looks modern for sure.

GP100 is my favourite 357, I've shot Smith's and the trigger was hardly night and day. My DA is heavier than a smith but my SA is equal IMO.

When comparing the enjoyment I get from shooting an AR compared to shooting a nice DA/SA revolver, the revolver is miles ahead in the fun department. I reload too, so not chasing brass is always a pleasure.

    Good trade!

Great choice! Looks like the one I have except mine is just the 4" model.

I put Match Champion grips and a fiber optic front sight on mine. I like the trigger just as it is.

Where did you get those grips? I put the compact grips on mine, but really do not like them. I think I would like the match champion ones.
