I was given a big handfull of 150 gr green tipped boat tail bullets; who makes them? First guess is Rem because of the color.

Never seen a green tip on a Remington bullet.
Green makes me think Nosler and also makes me think .30 caliber.
The only Remington bullets with a polymer tip that I've used is the Accutip. They are gold in color, no matter the caliber.

Of course, there may be bullets I'm not familiar with, but that's my guess.

Don't have a pic.....there is no cannulre.

I have never shot anything but plain base, boattail spire point or lead flat point out of my '06, so I haven't paid any attention to ballistic tips. The only thing I hunt is paper.

Just want to know for my reloading records.

What color green? If it's a bright neon green they might be Hornady from their Zombie-Max line of ammo. IIRC I think some of them got sold as just bullets as factory seconds on Midway a year or so ago.

When Nosler brought out the Ballistic Tip bullet line, each caliber had its own tip color. Green was .308".

He didn’t say they don’t make green tipped bullets. Just that they don’t offer a 150 grain one. The closest one they make is 749-016-107WB and it’s a 155gn green tipped bullet.

Hornady also makes green tipped .30 cal bullets, just not 150’s.

If they are Ballistic Tip bullets they have to be Nosler, because it’s a trademark name. :)

Exactly. If they are 30 cal, 150g and have a green tip they're Nosler BTs

Do they look like this one.
150gr Nosler Ballistic tip boat tail with no cannular as everyone else said. The collar of green in the pic is pretty much true to life. A little blurry though.
