Gridiron match

Headed to the Gridiron USPSA match in Linden, Ca. tomorrow. We start in the afternoon. This match started years ago as Single Stack vs Production. Now they've added Open vs PCC and Limited vs Carry Optics. Looks like fun. I'm shooting SS 45acp. After this I'm going to try shooting one of my 9mms for a while over the winter just because it's cheaper.

I keep saying that but it's hard to put down the 45, my favorite. Plus I just got a bunch of 45 brass.

What do you mean by "versus"?
Are the Divisions competing against each other somehow?

Just in this match. You used to see an occasional Single Stack only or Production only match. Then they had this match with just SS and Production competing against each other. Of course you could still see the results of either by themselves or combined. Now they've added the other competitions between two divisions. They have a team format too if you want to get a couple of others to form a team. Its just a little different format for fun. The shooting is the same as standard USPSA matches.
