For those of you with Walther P99s, regardless of caliber, I am working with Sidearmor to get Walther P99 holsters into production. They will be blueprinted from the .40 Auto version so that they will work with both calibers.

In order to make this happen, we need to get at least thirty (30) people committed to ordering. For this first order of at least thirty holsters, they will be uniformly IWB and *right-handed*. (Please don't flame me about the lack of a left-handed version.) This is because approximately 100 hours go into the blueprinting process. Available colors will be black and tan. We will also get the year, 2003, engraved on the holsters at no additional charge. There will be no discount, because this order will simply make these holsters possible. Their standard price is $59.95. (I am making absolutely no profit.) See: http://sidearmor.net/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_28/products_id/43

Options include:

Black or Tan
Belt loops or J-hooks
5-, 15-, or 20-degree cant
1.25-, 1.50-, or 1.75-inch loops
New shirt tucker attachment for $5.95 extra -- see: http://sidearmor.net/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/175
New belt hook attachment (see photo below) for $9.95 extra

Once thirty orders have been collected, I will front the funds to Sidearmor, who will then start production. Shipping has not yet been decided, but may cost as little as $4.50 per holster or as much as $6.50, depending on whether I take care of the shipping, or if they are sent out directly from Sidearmor. Production is expected to take approximately two weeks once the funds are provided to Sidearmor.

If interested, please contact me at: [email protected]

Be sure to indicate which options you want, as listed above.

(Just FYI, if this order for IWB holsters goes through smoothly, I'll then arrange a similar order for their new OWB Modular holster for the Walther P99. Again, a minimum of thirty holsters will be necessary, and will be $69.95 a pop. OWB Modular colors will be black, olive drab, woodland camo, tan and gunmetal grey. See: http://sidearmor.net/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_55/products_id/150 )

Anyone interested in a lef-hand version should still email to me, so that I can keep a list of those who have interest. If the list gets big enough, Sidearmor will eventually put it into production.

Are you still looking for additional holster orders?

What makes this holster worth the effort?

Thanks..

Sorry if I seem like Im kidnapping this thread....not my intention. I do SW/Walther 99 holsters and can do lefty setups...easily.

Back to your regularly sched'd thread........:D

Shoot well..............

Lunde:

I was interested in this post because so many people were willing to wait for the holster and yet it appears much like the Braveheart, which is available for the P99 in .40. What features warranted such an effort?

PCRCCW:

Some very nice holsters. It is actually my father with the P99 and I'm trying to help him out. He has been looking for an IWB for the .40. He has a nice Del Fatti for his S&W Mod. 60, but Matt is now taking a long time to deliver.

Thanks for the help...

OK...edit.... Anyone .... of the thirty proud owners of the Sidearmor IWB... What made you wait for this holster vs. purchasing an available holster like the Braveheart, or the Comp-Tac Gurkha?

Gary,
The HBE holsters look beautiful on the website. Beautiful leather and popular designs.
The Sidearmor are different in that they are Kydex which is thinner than leather and stronger in some ways. They also use a bodyshield which makes CCW comfortable. The back of the slide does not dig into your side.
It comes in three color choices, several cants, with three attachment options and a shirt-tucker option. The attachments and shirt tucker and cants are changable. Extremely well thought out and designed. For example, any sight option you add will clear the sight track.

Chip:

So it looks like this holster has the advantage of greater flexibility of mount vs. the Comp-Tac Gurkha. That sure seems like a real plus.

Sideearmor for P99

I put this up on the Walther Forums, but haven't received any feedback...

For those who are using the Sidearmor IWB P99 holster, what configuration do you have, any quirks?
It appears there are Loop, J-Hook, belt hook attachment methods to select when ordering. Also, Cant selection of 5, 15, 20 degr., and a shirt tucker attachment option (what's this?).
thx
