Nice. I want one. I also want the money to afford one.

Here and I was only thinking of pulling my guitar and friends out of retirement to finagle up a rendition of 'Hold the Pig Steady'...

Hey, who is that handsome devil? Wait a second... That's me! :D

I'm a novelist, and over the last year the book sales have really blown up huge. But before that I was a gun dealer and competition guy that loved STI. I was their 3rd largest volume dealer in the country at one point.

The main character in the Monster Hunter series has a pair of STI pistols + The guys at STI are fans + I'm a now a *little* famous + some other gun companies had fancy pants authors signign books at their booth = me going to SHOT to sign books at the STI booth.

I already had a Perfect 10 on order, so they decided that since I was going to be there as their guest, they'd make the pistol extra special to show off. And wow, did they. This thing is a work of art.

10mm 6" with the full length dustcover, + there is a second fitted .40 barrel. Since the breech face is the same, I can switch calibers in a minute. 10mm for oomph and .40 because it is cheaper to shoot. The crown on this thing is amazing. The fit between the barrel and slide is one of the smoothest I've ever seen. Super-Smith Mark Morris thought it was really nice. Ted Nugent thought this gun was nice. :)

It isn't finished yet, so I won't have it in hand for a bit, but when I do I'm going to shoot the heck out of it and post the results.

That's just awesome. And I had no idea that you were a member on here!

Yep, Larry's "Perfect 10". That is the version that I sat behind the curtain at STI with Larry and "Nightcrawler" and watched one of the STI smiths rebuild onto the gripper "MHI" textured grip.

Funny to meet another writer in the forum.

I write for 4years now and published 2 novels (thrillers).
In Cold Case guns are a big issue when the Dutch Police are chasing a wildcat killer ......
Books are in the Dutch language so there is no commercial attachment

My next one is a sequel of E
and is about a girl of 19 that goes for the Big 5 in Africa ....
